The JoAnne Champagne Scholarship was established by Bill Champagne, a native of The Islands and owner of A & B Beverage, in memory of his wife, a supporter of Island Arts for many years. The scholarship offers financial support and recognition to intermediate or advanced students in the arts and to working artists for instruction or participation in arts’ activities that will enhance skills, knowledge, and creativity. Applicants must be year-round residents of Grand Isle County. Funds will be paid to the program/instructor/college directly. One $1,000 award will be given annually. Applications are accepted year-round and announced in early summer. Please answer the following questions and use one additional sheet of paper if necessary.
Provide the information requested below regarding the program/instructor/college offering the activity/ instruction. A letter of recommendation from the instructor or an individual familiar with your work should be submitted with this application.
