The Native American community and their friends are thrilled that Island Arts is again sponsoring a celebration of their history, art, and culture.  Building upon the success of last year, the day will be expanded to include more participants and demonstrations.  Included will be dancing, drumming, story telling, and crafts with shaman to offer blessings.  This is a family event where both children and parents can participate and learn more about the customs and beliefs of those who were here from the beginning.

Food will be available at the Shrine cafeteria or bring a picnic lunch.  Events will be going on throughout the day so one can spend as much or little time as schedules permit.
