Policies and Procedures

Courses at the Island Arts Academy are kept small intentionally and most have a minimum and maximum size. Please register early to reserve your place in the course(s) and workshops(s) in which you wish to participate.

Courses/workshops with insufficient enrollment by 3 days prior to the starting date may be cancelled. Within 7 days of the starting date, please call 802-372-8889 or email info@islandarts.org to see if space is still available in the course(s) in which you are interested.

Island Arts Academy will maintain a waiting list for those courses which are filled to capacity. Individuals on the waiting list will be notified if space becomes available.

CANCELLATION: If the Academy cancels a course, registered students will be notified and receive a full refund for that course. If you must cancel your participation in a course for any reason, as long as you do so at least 7 days before the class, you will receive a refund less a 20% cancellation fee to cover administrative costs. If you cancel less than 7 days before the class begins, no refund will be issued. To withdraw from the class, email academy@islandarts.org or call Ann at 802-371-7977. Your cancellation will not be completed until you receive an email acknowledgement of your request.

Limited financial aid may be available to permanent Grand Isle County youth on a first come first served basis. If you are applying for financial aid, please call Ann at 802-371-7977 or the Island Arts Office at 802-372-8889 for more information.

From time to time we take photos or video during Island Arts classes.  We would like your permission to use these images in our brochure, on our website or in other media (such as the Islander).  Images will be selected to highlight activities.  We will never reference you or your child by name or provide any specific information.  The images will only be used by Island Arts to show the many ways we can have fun while participating in the Arts!
