Although each class will build on the classes prior\, you can still\nglean much from participating in just some or even one class in the series. \nClasses will be held at Camp Ingalls and the Community Hall in North Hero.\n(See above schedule).  No need to register. No experience necessary.\nBring your own yoga mat. Classes are by donation.

DESCRIPTION:Citizens Concert BandDate: Wednesday July 19\, 2023; 6:30 PM. Outside concert with option to picnic on the green at 5:30\, weather permitting; otherwise\, concert will move inside the barn.\nLocation: Island Arts Center\, 1127 US Rt 2\, North Hero\, VT 05474\nTickets: $10 online and at the door. \nThe ever-popular Citizens Concert Band returns to the Islands\, with a singer featured. Long a favorite of Island Arts’ audiences\, Citizens Concert Band offers a mix of toe-tapping music that includes traditional band favorites\, jazzy numbers\, and show and pop tunes cleverly adapted for its mix of musicians. A community band based in St. Albans\, its 30 to 40 musicians range from high school age through adults. \nThe Band has a long history. Founded in 1946 under the American Legion umbrella by soldiers returning home from World War II\, it has been going strong ever since. A single conductor\, Edric Loomis\, led the band from 1946 when he was 28 years old until his retirement after the 2001 season.
