DESCRIPTION:Sohyun Ahn\, Solo PianoDate and Time: Friday\, August 22\, 2025; 7 PM.  No intermission.\nLocation: Island Arts Center\, 1127 US Rt 2\, North Hero\, VT 05474\nTickets: $25 online and at the door\, $20 at local outlets. \nNew York City concert pianist Sohyun Ahn returns to Island Arts for the fourth year with a beautiful program for our community. An Island Arts’ favorite\, Sohyun’s well-attended concerts of the last three summers elicited raves.  “Amazing delicacy” and “world class.” \nThis program showcases Ahn in a solo piano concert featuring the first set of Chopin Nocturnes. She comments that this Chopin is “the perfect music for a dreamy summer evening\, in a beautiful place like the Island Arts barn\, with a fine concert grand piano.” \nSohyun Ahn is described as “an absolute master” by the New York Concert Review\, and  an “amazing pianist” by the Classical New Jersey Society.
