Table tickets are available online or at the door\, first come-first served and subject to availability.  Tables tickets are not available from local ticket outlets. \nSylvia offers a solo piano recital of beloved shorter classical music (including some jazzy numbers) by composers that include Mozart\, Schubert\, Mendelssohn\, Bartok\, George Gershwin\, and Scott Joplin. \nA long time University of Vermont music professor and concert pianist (now retired)\, Sylvia enjoys spending the summer here in the Champlain Islands. Island Arts is delighted to showcase her musical talents for the first time in this concert. \nSylvia will play a Yamaha C7 concert grand piano provided through the courtesy of the Vermont Youth Orchestra Association. The camp meets Monday through Friday mornings in the Island Arts Center barn from 9 AM to noon. \nLearn basic camera techniques on our HD cameras\, and how to edit your projects on Adobe Premiere Pro editing software. Campers will also have instruction on how to use a green screen and a variety of microphones during the week. To round out the week\, campers will put their new skills to use by recreating a 2–4-minute scene from a blockbuster film\, as part of the Crowdsourced Cinema VT (https://www.mediafactory.org/crowdsourcedvt)\, a statewide collaborative film project (past films have included Star Wars and Jurassic Park…what will we recreate this year?
