Table tickets are only available online or at the door––first come-first served\, subject to availability. Tables tickets are not available from local ticket outlets. \nThe Ken Clark Organ Trio has been performing around New England\, the eastern U.S.\, and internationally for 15 years. This is their first appearance at the Island Arts Summer Festival. “Organist Ken Clark\, guitarist Mike Mele\, and drummer Steve Chaggaris lean on the beat\, (high stepping funk\, shuffle boogaloo back beat ballad)\, build dynamic climaxes sprinkle in jazz solos and deliver the goods. Clark controls the B3 like a master: hip bass lines\, sizzling chordal washes\, feel-good riffs\, funky blues lines and syncopated accents figure in the mix. The groove\, the sonic power of the organ and a soulful message are a forceful combination for reaching the people\, all the way from the church to the dance floor. Can’t beat the feeling.” ~ Owen Cordle\, Jazz Times \n“You might be skeptical about listening to a CD without a bass player\, but from the opening bars of the first track\, school is in session! Organist Ken Clark has a punchy\, thick bass tone that rivals Rocco’s\, and he grooves like a funky S.O.B. His right hand is pretty happening\, too. A must hear for fans of jazzy\, funky groove music.” ~ Bass Player Magazine \nGet TicketsBACK TO ALL EVENTS

SUMMARY:Yin Yoga for All
DESCRIPTION:Day/Time: Monday 9:00 – 10:00 AM\nDate/Location: June 23\, 30\, July 14\, 21\, 28\, Aug 4\, 25 no class July 7\nCamp Ingalls 1769 South End Rd\, North Hero\, VT\nCost:  $10 suggested donation at the door (cash\, check\, venmo) \n(In partnership with North Hero Parks and Recreation and Island Arts) \nFor Beginner\, Aging\, Active\, and Athletic  \nYin Yoga is a contemplative practice that targets the connective tissues of the body such as tendons\, ligaments\, and the deep fascia network. This practice consists of going into a pose\, finding stillness\, and then connecting to the breath while holding the pose for 3-4 minutes. Most poses are seated poses similar to stretching poses. This is a great practice for people with an active mind as well as an active body. If you are new to yoga this is a wonderful place to start. \nA limited number of mats will be available for use. \nBob Muncil \nBob loves fishing and playing pickleball in North Hero in the summertime.  He is a certified Yin Yoga and meditation teacher and has experienced the benefits they offer to his aging and athletic body; and for quieting his busy mind. Bob is also an Interventionist and Recovery Coach and has been sober for 31 years. He has made it his mission in retirement to share the benefits of yoga\, meditation\, and sobriety wherever he goes. Prior to retirement Bob worked for 35 years in the business world.

SUMMARY:Marsh Lights Concert
DESCRIPTION:Marsh Lights\nDate and Time: Sunday\, Aug. 24\, 2025; 4-5:30 PM. Grounds open at 3:30.\nOptional picnic on the green. Bring a chair or blanket if desired. If weather requires\, concert will move inside the barn.\nLocation: Island Arts Center\, 1127 US Rt 2\, North Hero\, VT 05474\nTickets: FREE concert for all to enjoy. Sponsored by anonymous Vermont donors. Registration requested and appreciated but not required. \nVermont musician Colby Crehan\, former vocalist and songwriter for the Bluegrass Gospel Project and Possum Haw\, reunites with her Possum Haw bandmates in the 5-piece acoustic project Marsh Lights. \nMarsh Lights plays acoustic folk-grass music. The program features songs composed by Crehan. “Colby Crehan is a powerful and magnificently talented musician.”–– Robert Resnik\, host\, All the Traditions\, Vermont Public Radio. \nMarsh Lights’ new songs explore bravery\, darkness\, spirituality\, and grace with lyrics that often employ metaphoric places and female heroes and perspectives. And Marsh Lights pulls from the old songbook of PossumHaw\, particularly the songs found on their last recording\, the live 2017 album Limberpine. The band also plays instrumentals written by banjoist Ryan Crehan and mandolinist Stephen Waud. Charley Eiseman’s warm vocals join Colby and Ryan’s for hauntingly sweet three-part harmonies. Charley plays lead acoustic guitar with nuanced blues and jazz inflections. Mitch Barron\, a long-time essential presence in the Vermont folk music scene\, brings his skilled upright bass playing to the stage\, along with deep\, rich vocal backup. \nVermont Vocalist of the Year\nVermont Song of the Year\n“The combination of talent\, passion\, and songwriting in the band is breathtaking.”\n– Mary-Nell Bockman\, Whallonsburg Grange \nBACK TO ALL EVENTS
