SUMMARY:Gong Bath Relaxation
DESCRIPTION:Gong Bath RelaxationDate/Time: July 7th & August 24th 7:00-8:00 pm\nLocations: Camp Ingalls\, 1769 South End Road\, North Hero.\nCost: FREE; donations appreciated to benefit Island Arts \nGong baths are essentially a sound massage for the body. The gong has been used as a powerful tool in helping to still the mind and relax the body for thousands of years. Participating in a gong bath consists of lying on a yoga mat or blanket and simply letting the sound waves of the gong wash over you. Gong baths are known to reduce stress and aid in the flow of emotions. There will be gentle movement and breathing exercises in preparation for the relaxation. \nPlease bring your own yoga mat or blanket. \nThe class will be taught by Kim Muncil\, a certified Kundalini Yoga instructor. She has taught yoga and provided Gong Baths for several years. She is a retired elementary teacher and spends her summers on Lake Champlain. \nOffered in collaboration with the North Hero Parks and Recreation. \nBACK TO ALL EVENTS
