DESCRIPTION:Handcrafted Greeting Card WorkshopDate and Time: Wednesday June 19\, 2024  10:30am – 12:00pm\nInstructor: Pat Brennan\nLocation: 275 South Street\, South Hero\, Vermont 05486 \nTickets: $10 \nEnjoy Card Workshops taught by Pat Brennan. An Islander since 1969\, Pat \nhas been giving card classes for five years. She will teach you basic \ncard-making. At your first class\, in addition to the class fee\,\nyou will be required to buy a tool kit ($7) that includes a dispenser with double-sided tape\, glue dots\, sponge daubers\, and a little bling. \nAt each class\, you will receive two kits. Each kit will create a beautiful one-of-kind card with envelope\, a card likely to cost $5 or $6 in a store—if you could find one as nice! This is a great opportunity to have fun\, learn card-making\, and surprise friends and family with beautiful cards. \nPlease bring scissors if you have them. \nClass fee includes 2 card kits per class. \nRegister NowBACK TO ALL CLASSES

DESCRIPTION:Solstice Gong Sound ImmersionDate/Time: June 21\, 2024\, 7:30-8:30 pm\nLocation: Camp Ingalls Longhouse\, 769 South End Road\, North Hero.\nCost: By Donation \nCelebrate the arrival of the Summer Solstice!  Join Kim Muncil as we acknowledge the time of year when we are blessed with the energy of light\, warmth\, and long days.  To begin\, participants will be guided with some gentle movement and breath work to prepare the body for stillness. Then they will lie on their yoga mat or sit in a chair and let the sounds of the gong wash over them. The gong can trigger a very deep relaxing experience as the body resonates with the frequency of the gong.
