SUMMARY:Little Women - The Broadway Musical
DESCRIPTION:Little Women – The Broadway MusicalDates and Times:  Saturday\, July 20 at 2 PM\nLocation: Island Arts Center\, 1127 US Rt 2\, North Hero\, VT 05474\nTickets:   $20 General admission $15 Students \nPerformances July 18th through July 20th\nJuly 18\, 2025 7:00pm\nJuly 19\, 2025 2:00pm & 7:00pm\nJuly 20\, 2025 2:00pm \nLouisa May Alcott’s beloved story\, “Little Women\,” has never been more relevant. With its themes of sisterhood\, challenging traditional gender roles\, and celebrating the powerful contributions of women throughout American history\, this story continues to resonate across generations. \nBased on Louisa May Alcott’s life\, Little Women follows the adventures of sisters Jo\, Meg\, Beth\, and Amy March. Jo is trying to sell her stories for publication\, but the publishers are not interested – her friend\, Professor Bhaer\, tells her that she has to do better and write more from herself. Begrudgingly taking this advice\, Jo weaves the story of herself and her sisters and their experience growing up in Civil War America. Little Women embodies the complete theatrical experience\, guaranteeing a night filled with laughter\, tears\, and a lifting of the spirit. The powerful score soars with the sounds of personal discovery\, heartache\, and hope – the sounds of a young America finding its voice. \nWith a cast of  students and Vermont professionals Full Circle Theater Collaborative and Fearn Enterprise are proud to bring this musical adaptation of an American classic to the stage. \nMusic by Jason Howland\, Lyrics by Mindi Dickstein\, Book by Allan Keen \nBased  on the novel by Louisa May Alcott \nGET TICKETS @ FULL CIRCLEPhoto by Michael Frett.
