When you donate to Island Arts we use Zeffy to manage your donation.

How Zeffy’s Optional Fees Work

• Zero platform fees: Unlike most fundraising platforms that take 3–5% of each donation, Zeffy passes the entire donation to the nonprofit.
• Optional donor tips: When donors give, they see a prompt suggesting an optional tip (often defaulted to around 10–15%). This tip goes directly to Zeffy, not the nonprofit.
• Transparency: Donors can adjust the tip amount or set it to $0. The choice is entirely theirs.
• Business model: Zeffy’s sustainability depends on enough donors voluntarily leaving tips, rather than charging nonprofits hidden fees.
