Location & Parking

When attending events at the Island Arts Center, please follow posted signs and directions for on-site parking. Handicap parking is available.

Health & Safety

Island Arts follows the Vermont State Health and Safety protocols and policies. For events inside the Island Arts Center, fire safety codes prohibit the blocking of exits, aisles, or access aisles to stairs.

No Smoking

The Island Arts Center and its property are a smoke-free environment. NO smoking or vaping is allowed on the property.

Restrooms

Porta-lets are provided as restrooms facilities. The porta-lets are located outside the barn lower level.

Picnicking and BYOB

Picnicking at performances is permitted. BYOB [Bring Your Own Beverages] is permitted outside. BYOB is also permitted when seated at a reserved table inside. Minors under age 21 may not consume alcohol beverages on Island Arts property. Island Arts staff and volunteers may ask to verify the age of any BYOB participants. Attendees must remove any refuse they generate.

Children

Children under age 18 may attend events produced by Island Arts at no cost. No ticket is required. For classes sponsored by Island Arts, financial aid is available. See also Island Arts Scholarships.

Weapons

The safety and well-being of our patrons, artists, and volunteers are of utmost importance. To ensure a safe environment for all, the possession of firearms, fireworks, explosives, incendiary devices, or weapons of any kind is prohibited in the Island Arts Center and on the property, except those carried by law enforcement officers who are on duty.

Service Animals

Service animals are welcomed. Other pets are permitted only outside. They must be leashed, quiet, and controlled at all times. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their animals.

Use of Cameras & Recording Equipment

Cameras and recording equipment may be used during outside performances unless expressly forbidden before an event. Picture-taking and recording are prohibited during events inside the Island Arts Center barn, except by members of the press, LCATV personnel, and/or Island Arts board members who are operating in a professional capacity.

Privacy Policy

When you purchase tickets, make a contribution, or signup for any of our services, we may collect your name, address, email address, and phone number. Island Arts does not sell, rent, or share names, addresses, and phone numbers to third parties, nor do we share our donor lists.

If your personal information changes, such as your address, phone number, or email address, we will gladly correct, update, or remove any data you previously provided to us. You can change your personal information at any time by updating your account on our website or sending an email to info@islandarts.org.

Your credit card information is not retained by Island Arts. Our payment gateway vendor, Webconnex, receives your name, contact information, credit card number, expiration date, and CVV code. Webconnex uses the personally-identifiable information principally to provide you with the service(s) of registering for an event online, purchasing tickets, making an online donation, subscribing to a newsletter, or otherwise registering for an online form on your behalf as a client. Postal and email address information, for example, enables communication about services/items offered and ordered, as well as the proper provisioning and billing of those services (email of ticket receipts, for example).

Webconnex may involve other companies or vendors to carry out certain functions in marketing and delivering services to you (such as processing data files and sending you order fulfillment information), and so may share data with those vendors to the extent necessary for them to perform their work. Such partners and vendors must use that personally-identifiable information only for the purpose(s) for which it was shared and protect it from any further use. Webconnex uses encryption, firewalls and other technology and security procedures to help protect the accuracy and security of your personal information and prevent unauthorized access or improper use.
