A Shared Talk: A Journey of Spiritual and Personal Growth
Island Arts Barn
August 13
6-7:30 PM
Free (Donations to Island Arts gratefully accepted)
Join two friends, Bob Muncil and Tim Carney, as they share their heartfelt stories of addiction, recovery, and their paths toward spiritual and personal transformation. Through honesty, humility, and lived experience, they reflect on the struggles and the practices that helped them move forward from addiction and all that goes with it, to greater awareness, compassion, purpose and joy.
Together, they will speak about the power of connection, the role of spirituality in recovery, and the daily choices that support a life of balance and growth. Their message is one of hope, resilience, and the possibility of change. Whether you struggle with addiction or not, this shared talk will inspire you. All are welcome.

Yin Yoga is a contemplative practice that targets the connective tissues of the body such as tendons, ligaments, and the deep fascia network. This practice consists of going into a pose, finding stillness, and then connecting to the breath while holding the pose for 3-4 minutes. Most poses are seated poses similar to stretching poses. This is a great practice for people with an active mind as well as an active body. If you are new to yoga this is a wonderful place to start.
Bob is a certified Yin Yoga and meditation instructor. No experience necessary. No registration required. Just drop in. A limited number of mats will be available for use.
